Website Development and Maintenance Terms of Service

1. Introduction

This Terms of Service ("Agreement") governs the relationship between Long Weight Developers LTD ("Provider") and the client ("Client"). By subscribing to our web development and maintenance services, the Client agrees to be bound by this Agreement.

2. Services Provided

Provider agrees to create, host, and maintain a website for the Client. This includes:

Website development

Hosting of the website repository

Hosting the website on a domain of the Client's choice

Domain management

Maintenance and security updates

Unlimited adjustments and additions upon request

3. Payment Terms

All payments are non-refundable. Payments made at the start of the month cover services for that following month.

The standard subscription fee is £200 per month.

An alternative pricing option is available at £150 per month, but adjustments and additions will be charged separately at £60 per hour.

Each new page added to the website will incur an additional charge of £20 per page per month.

Alternative pricing options are available, where the Client may pay a lower monthly fee with a commitment to pay the full price after six months.

Payments are due on a recurring monthly basis.

Late payments may result in service suspension or termination.

4. Cancellation & Termination

• The Client may cancel the subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, the website and related hosting services will be discontinued.
• If the Client is on a discounted plan with a six-month commitment, the full balance becomes due upon early termination.
• The Provider reserves the right to terminate services for non-payment or violation of terms.

5. Ownership & Licensing

• The Provider retains ownership of the domain name after cancellation unless the Client requests a transfer, which may be subject to an additional fee.
• The Provider retains ownership of the domain name after cancellation, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
• The Client owns the website content and branding materials they provide.
• The website’s underlying code and structure remain the property of the Provider unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
• If the Client cancels, they may request a static version of their website (excluding backend functionality) for an additional fee, provided they make the request within 30 days of cancellation.

6. Client Responsibilities

• Providing a list of services – Each service must include a title, one image, a short description, and bullet points summarizing the service.
• Providing portfolio items – Each item must include a title, a short description, a long description (summarized in bullet points), and relevant images.
• Contact details – The Client must provide an email, phone number, address, business owner's name, and a liaison contact (if applicable).
• The Client grants the Provider the right to create, modify, and manage their website on their behalf.
• The Client must have the necessary rights and authorization to approve the creation of the website.
• Optional branding materials – The Client may also provide a logo, color scheme, and font preferences for website styling.

7. Service Limitations

• Support requests will be responded to within 2 business days.
• SEO optimization is offered as a service, but no guarantees are made regarding specific results.
• Unlimited adjustments and additions apply to reasonable updates and enhancements within the scope of the original website project.
• Major redesigns, third-party integrations, and custom software development may incur additional fees.

8. Liability & Indemnification

• The Provider is not liable for any business losses, interruptions, or damages resulting from website downtime, cyberattacks, or external hosting issues.
• The Client agrees to indemnify the Provider against any legal claims arising from the website’s content or misuse.

9. Modifications to Terms

• The Provider reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes.

10. Governing Law

• This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
